Meet Lanark's First Homeowners

Bobbie Zadorozny, 23, is a stay-at-home mom and avid gardener. Her partner Mike Power, 26, works in the financial industry and was born and raised in Airdrie. He is a big sports fan and prefers south of the border style football. Their daughter Lacey is four and Odin, a golden retriever, completes the family.

Mike and Bobbie are moving from King’s Heights, right next door to Lanark Landing, and have the distinction of being the very first homebuyers in the new community.

Living in King’s Heights, a highly successful Melcor Developments community, the family has had the opportunity to watch their new home being built from the ground up while on walks with the dog. Bobbie and Mike loved the amenities of King’s Heights but were finding that they were in need of a larger space. Following a visit to the Homes by Avi showhome in King’s Heights in October 2019, everything fell into place.

They purchased the Alexander floor plan — a 1,520 sf duplex built by Homes by Avi.

Mike and Bobbie are looking forward to moving in and enjoying their new home.   Melcor should have all the landscaping on High View Gate and the roundabout feature completed in late May just in time to welcome the family home.

The multi-use pathway right outside their door connects Lanark Landing to King’s Heights, Ravenswood and beyond, and will be perfect for walks with Odin and family bike rides.

Mike and Bobbie visited showhomes all over Airdrie, but really grew to love King’s Heights while living there and wanted to remain nearby.

The couple saved $1,000 on the purchase of their lot by being one of the first people to sign up on the Lanark Landing website. You can still take advantage of this offer, which has been extended to August 31, 2020. Click here for details.

Melcor looks forward to welcoming Mike, Bobbie, Lacey and Odin to the neighbourhood!
